Pet Care Specialists

We are looking for an individual knowledgeable in dog behavior and experienced in supervising off leash dog play. The primary job responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and well being of both daycare and boarding dogs in the playgroups
• Keeping the facility and playrooms clean
• Providing exceptional customer service to all clients

The major challenge of this position is maintaining peace and calm in the playgroups during challenging times, such as morning drop off and afternoon pick up.  Also knowing the dog body language cues that indicate the need to step in and doing so in a timely manner to prevent escalation of behaviors.

This job is very physical and includes lots of cleaning.

The qualified individual will be responsible, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. Good customer service skills a must.

Shifts are 7am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 7:00pm, Monday through Friday; as well as rotating weekends and some holidays.

This is a long-term position; we are not seeking seasonal help.

Kennel Assistant

Kennel Assistants are responsible for the day-to-day care of boarding dogs and cats. The primary job responsibilities include:

• Feeding, watering, walking, and administering medications
• Monitoring the well being of the dogs and cats
• Cleaning and disinfecting of all suites, crates, play areas and outside areas
• Many routine janitorial tasks such as housekeeping duties, inventory, and some maintenance. Experience preferred.
• Assisting during peak check in/out times of the day

This job is very physical. Kennel Assistant’s must have physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to administer medications, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or illness.

It is essential that candidates have the ability and willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for all animals in the facility. The qualified individual will be responsible, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. Good customer service skills a must.

PET GROOMER/STYLIST

Pet Groomer/Stylists are individuals experienced in pet grooming using modern tools, equipment & methods and also knowledgeable in animal care and hygiene.

The qualified individual will responsible for completing all aspects of the grooming process including, but not limited to bathing, drying, brushout, clipper/scissor work and finish work, as well as client interaction. The qualified applicant will be responsible, reliable and trustworthy and will have experience as a pet groomer at a reputable grooming salon and/or a certificate of completion from a professional grooming school. Good customer skills a must.
